Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of the software, website and services provided by GradeTyping ("we", "us", "our"). By buying a licence or using our software, you agree to these Terms.

Licence

When you purchase a plan, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the GradeTyping software for one year from the date of activation, on the number of machines included in your plan (for example a single PC, or a server plus a set number of extenda seats). The licence is for your own study or for use within your registered training institute. You may not copy, resell, sub-licence, rent or reverse-engineer the software, or share your activation keys outside your licensed seats.

Payments & renewals

Prices are shown on our pricing page and are billed as a one-time annual licence fee. Licences are valid for 12 months from activation; renew before expiry to keep uninterrupted access. Payments are handled by our payment gateway.

Refunds

Because activation keys unlock the software immediately, licence fees are generally non-refundable once a key has been issued or activated. If you were charged in error or could not activate the software, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will review your case in good faith and issue a refund where appropriate.

Acceptable use

• Use the software only for lawful typing practice and exam preparation.
• Do not attempt to bypass activation, licensing or security measures.
• Do not distribute, publish or resell the exam content or software.
• Keep your account credentials and activation keys confidential.

Availability & support

The desktop software runs offline after a one-time activation. Online support is included in all plans and is available daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. We aim to keep the service running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website or online services.

Limitation of liability

GradeTyping is a practice tool and does not guarantee any particular exam result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the software or services is limited to the licence fee you paid for the current term. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you.
