GradeTyping ("we", "us", "our") builds exam-accurate typing practice software for Maharashtra's government skill certifications. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it. It applies to our website (gradetyping.com) and the GradeTyping desktop software.

• Account details — your name, email address and phone number when you register or purchase a licence.
• Purchase & licence data — the plan you bought, activation keys and the machine(s) on which the software is activated.
• Payment information — payments are processed by our payment gateway. We receive a confirmation and transaction reference, but we never store your full card or bank details.
• Support correspondence — the emails and messages you send us when you request help.
• Basic usage data — standard technical logs (such as browser type and pages visited) needed to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

• To create and manage your account and licence.
• To activate the software and provide our daily online support.
• To process payments, renewals and refunds.
• To send you essential service messages, such as activation keys and renewal reminders.
• To keep our website and software secure and to improve them.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run GradeTyping — such as our payment gateway and email provider — and only to the extent required to deliver the service, or where the law requires it.

Data retention & security

We keep your account and purchase records for as long as your licence is active and as long as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Your typing practice on the desktop software runs offline and stays on your own machine.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Some records (for example, tax invoices) may need to be retained to meet legal requirements.
